Shelby Energy is making some changes.
Our commitment is to provide safe, reliable energy and quality customer service to our members. For this reason, we are making some exciting upgrades to the ways we serve you.


Here’s what to expect….


April 11 – April 18
Our Remote Payment Centers at
Poppy’s General Store, Bedford
Riverside Smoker Friendly, Milton
Henry County Supply , New Castle

will be undergoing system updates and will not be accepting Shelby Energy payments during that time.

Call 800-292-6585 to discuss additional payment options.

 

From April 16 (4:00 p.m.)  – until April 19 (8:00 a.m.)

All Shelby Energy payment systems will be unavailable while system upgrades are completed. Your inability to make payments during this perioud will not result in an interruption of service. Call 800-292-6585 to report all service issues and outages.

 

APRIL 19 – The Big Day!

All updates will be completed by 8:00 a.m. !
Additional guidance will be provided for SmartHub registration.

*None of these services or changes will take effect until April 19.
If you attempt to register with the new online SmartHub system prior to this date, your data will not be properly recorded and you will be prompted to re-register after April 19.

 

What’s New?

  1. Your bills are going to look different! We’ve redesigned our bills to provide more in-depth usage information and additional payment options. Take a look!
  2. Great news! All processing fees for credit card and check payments have been removed.
  3. Some payment methods may have changed, see your preferred methods below:

 

OUR OFFICE

 

As always, our customer service team is available to answer your questions, take service requests and process payments at our office at 620 Old Finchville Road, Shelbyville, KY.
Just call 800-292-6585 to speak with a representative or stop by and say “hello!”.

Additionally, if you enjoy paying your bill at our office, either by visiting us or through the mail, you may continue to do so!

BY PHONE

To pay your bill by phone, you will now dial our secure payments-only line
833-284-5049
*For your security, our customer service specialists cannot accept payments over-the-phone. If you wish to make a payment by phone, you must call this secure payments-only line.

ONLINE

If you normally pay your bill online, use our mobile app or are enrolled in Autopay, you will enjoy our new SmartHub tool!
You can manage your accounts, pay your bill, receive notifications and more. Visit
www.shelbyenergy.com/smarthub to learn more and register!

*Autopay is an online service. Members that use autopay previously registered online and provided credit card information. This is not the same as BankDraft, where the member provided bank routing information and have their payments deducted from their bank account each month. Only Autopay users will need to re-enter and enroll using the new system to continue using this service.

BANK DRAFT

If you currently enjoy our BankDraft service and have enrolled to allow your monthly bill to be deducted from your bank account each month, you will not need to change a thing! Your information will safely transfer to our new system and this service will not be interrupted.

PREPAY

Members that use Prepay Service should register with SmartHub to manage their accounts and sign up for additional notifications. Visit www.shelbyenergy.com/smarthub to learn more!

REMOTE PAYMENT CENTERS

 

We have three remote payment centers:
Poppy’s General Store, Bedford, KY
Riverside Smoker Friendly, Milton,KY
Henry County Supply, New Castle,KY
You can visit Shelby Energy’s payment kiosks at these locations to make credit card or e-check payments only.

 

CASH PAYMENTS

To pay with cash, you can visit our office or use the Vanilla Direct Barcode, located on your Shelby Energy bill, to pay at any participating Vanilla Direct location. Visit https://pay.vanilladirect.com/pages/retailers to find a convenient location near you. Make sure to have your barcode on-hand
